Jenny Jones has been a Green Party member of the London Assembly for 12 years.
She works on Transport, Food and Policing, with an overall concern for environmental and social justice. She is the Mayor of London’s advisor on green transport and chairs London Food, a mayoral commission to improve the quality and sustainability of London’s food supply. She is also a leading advocate of civil liberties on the Metropolitan Police Authority.
In 2004, Jenny was Deputy Mayor of London and named as one of 200 ‘women of achievement’ by her Majesty the Queen. In 2013 she was made a working Peer.
