Yesterday a shabby deal was done between the Criminal Bar Association and Grayling. This has led to immediate widespread condemnation and also resignations. The deal must not be allowed to break unity between solicitors and barristers against devastating cuts to legal aid. We must all stand together to protect decent representation for everybody affected by the law, whether it is to defend or protect their rights.
