Unity for Justice: Solicitors and barristers united against devastating cuts to legal aid

unity togetherYesterday a shabby deal was done between the Criminal Bar Association and Grayling. This has led to immediate widespread condemnation and also resignations.  The deal must not be allowed to break unity between solicitors and barristers against devastating cuts to legal aid.  We must all stand together to protect decent representation for everybody affected by the law, whether it is to defend or protect their rights.

There is a demonstration on Tuesday 1st April with the National Association of Probation Officers, where we have an opportunity to show that we are all united against the cuts.
We want solicitors and barristers, criminal and civil, to buddy up to show the unity against Grayling’s cuts. Please join us and tweet with hashtag
Lets give Grayling a birthday he will want to forget.
